While it can obviously make thing very difficult for you, if you are in a high place on the credit score rating scale your credit score can make your life a lot easier. See, companies decide who they want to do business with based on how risky it is that you will not make your payments on time. They judge this based on your credit score, because a good one indicates that you have made your payments on time in the past. When companies want to do business with you they will approve applications easily and charge you low interest rates, without tacking any additional fees or deposits. When you have a bad credit score the opposite is true.
