Ed Briant's illustrations have regularly appeared in most of the best-known newspapers and magazines in the United States and Europe, including GQ, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly, The New Yorker, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and Sports Illustrated.
His debut picture book, PAPER PARADE, published by Atheneum, was awarded a Flying Start, by Publishers Weekly. He is the author and illustrator of SEVEN STORIES, from Roaring Brook, and A DAY AT THE BEACH, published by Greenwillow. GIZMO is due to be published in the Spring of 2007, and DON'T LOOK NOW in Spring 2008. Both by by Roaring Brook.

Ed teaches Illustration and Foundation at Maine College of Art in Portland Maine. He lives in Maplewood NJ with his wife and two daughters.
